A Transmission Lattice Dead-end Tower, also known as a terminal tower, is a type of structure used in electrical power transmission lines. These towers are specially designed and built to handle the mechanical loads that occur at the end of a transmission line segment or where the line must make a significant directional change. Unlike suspension towers, which primarily support the weight and tension of the transmission lines along straight sections, dead-end towers are robust and have a more substantial build to withstand the increased tension and forces exerted by the cables ending or changing direction at these points.
